Cryptzone, the European IT security and threat mitigation specialist, has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Computing Security awards for its secure bootable USB solution, AppGate MOVE (My Own Virtual Environment).
AppGate MOVE provides a portable and robust way to access information and applications securely from a PC without the risk of malware infection. Working in combination with Cryptzone’s AppGate Security Server, it doesn’t touch the host computer’s operating system and executes in a secure and trusted environment regardless of the configuration. MOVE includes an encrypted partition for user data and no trace or residue is left when the session to the AppGate server is closed. All communications are encrypted to prevent data loss.
“We are delighted to be nominated by the readers of Computing Security for this award.” says Einar Lindquist. “Secure encrypted communications are fundamental for the protection of corporate data assets. Making security measures simpler for users to embrace is a challenge that IT professionals have to address, otherwise users simply look for ways to circumvent them.”
The Computing Security Awards were set up to recognize the products, services and companies that have been most impressive at protecting organizations from IT security threats. The winners will be decided by industry public vote. You can vote for Cryptzone under the category of Encryption Solution of the Year at http://www.computingsecurityawards.co.uk .
