A new era for TCSJOHNHUXLEY

Following a transfer of shares by TCSJOHHNUXLEY owner and Chairman, Bertil Knutsson to his sons, Tristan Sjöberg will take up the role of Executive Chairman with immediate effect. Michael Knutsson will continue his role as Director. This underlines the company’s policy of family ownership with active shareholder involvement.

Bertil Knutsson comments, “It is with great pride that I am able to offer both Michael and Tristan more significant roles within TCSJOHNHUXLEY. I am pleased to be able to step back from my active duty in the knowledge that our company is in good hands, keeping the business very much within the family.”

TCSJOHNHUXLEY has one of the gaming industry’s strongest heritage with the origins of the company established over 30 years ago. Bertil Knutsson was a pioneer in introducing automated electronic gaming equipment to tables in what was a highly traditional arena. These key products, such as the Chipper Champ chip sorting machine, changed the face of gaming floors for ever and continue to be benchmarks to the industry.

Tristan has handed over the day to day running of the Asian operations to Rebecca Kingswell, General Manager Asia. He will continue to be based in Singapore.

Tristan Sjöberg comments, “I am extremely proud to be taking on a more important role within the Group as I understand how important TCSJOHNHUXLEY is to my father. The foundations and heritage that he initiated many years ago are at the heart of what we do. Michael and I are committed to continue to grow the business, taking it into a new era under the leadership of our new Group CEO Cath Burns.”
