Betsson har successivt dragit ned på sin verksamhet i Storbritannien under de senaste åren, bland annat genom att stänga ned det brittiska kontoret i slutet av 2018. Koncernen har hittills haft nio varumärken, på tre olika plattformar och under fyra olika licenser i Storbritannien. Betsson har nu tagit ett strategiskt beslut att genomföra ytterligare förändringar genom att konsolidera verksamheten i Storbritannien och fokusera tillväxten på endast ett varumärke (Rizk). Today, the High Court of Justice in the UK made an order to sanction the scheme of arrangement regarding Betsson AB’s cash offer to acquire all shares in NetPlay TV plc (NetPlay).
