The 3rd Annual InterCasino Ski Competition hosted by Casino de Crans-Montana was held recently in Switzerland, where TCS John Huxley was the main sponsor of this event that gathered 65 skiers and snow boarders fighting for a chance to win the Giant Slalom.
Participants from all over Europe met in Switzerland’s mountains for the third edition of this event, which this year had a very special guest: Sir Roger Moore. Following the competition, the casino laid on a barbecue on the slopes where a presentation was made to Sir Roger Moore on behalf of UNICEF. This consisted of a check for 20,000 Swiss Francs (us$ 17,000) which was donated by all of those who attended this event.
Dinner and prize giving followed that evening with Marcus Honney presenting the TCS John Huxley trophies to the winners.
The competition organizer, Tim Cullimore, Director of Casino de Crans-Montana, commented: ”We have been absolutely delighted with the support of the InterCasino Ski Competition. It’s great to see people from casinos all over Europe gathering and socializing in this friendly, yet competitive atmosphere. Added to this is the benefit of being able to raise money for a fantastic cause.”
